Passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital Esau Durnford in his 81st year. Leaving to mourn with loving memories wife Annie (Young) of 55 years Francois. Five children: son Barry of Francois, daughter Christine (Tony) of Paducah Kentucky, son Brian (Norma) Francois, son Bud (Bonny) of Francois, son George (Sherri) of St Johns. Seven Grandchildren four great Grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Amelia and Benjamin Durnford. Four brothers and two sisters. Visitation was held at St. Simon St. Jude Anglican Church in Francois on Monday from where the funeral service took place on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mary Rose Colbourne officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery.
