With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Therese after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 at the age of 68.
Beloved wife, best friend and soul mate of Bill for 46 years. Loving mother to Karen McDowell (Rick) and Lisa McCue-Estrella (Kevin). Grandma of Alex McDowell, and Logan, Ryan and Rachael Estrella. Loving sister to Marie Helene Chiasson (Raymond), Marcellin Aucoin (Ethel), Laurette MacGillivray (Eugene), Elizabeth Nugent (Albert) and Rita Breininger (Joe), and brothers/cousins, David Roach (Joanne) and Jacky Roach (Sharon); sister-in-law, Claudette Aucoin and Diane Bricard (Phillipe, Jason) as well as many nephews, nieces, as well as great and great-great nephews and nieces.
Predeceased by brothers, Wilfred and Albert Aucoin.
A funeral mass was held from Annunciation of Our Lord Parish in Hamilton, Ont. on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
Words are insufficient to describe how grateful we are to family, friends and neighbours, who have been so kind and thoughtful during this difficult period. A special thank you to our wonderful doctor, Jean Mullens and all the support staff for their extreme compassion and care.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Kidney Foundation, Alzheimer Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
