Mom’s funeral was held on October 19, 2009. The Mass was celebrated by our dear friend Father Robert Hector McNeil who was assisted by Father Andrew Gillies. Thank you to both for a beautiful celebration of Mom’s life. Thank you to the grandchildren and sons-in-law who were pallbearers, readers and giftbearers. Mom would be so proud to have you with us at this time. To the choir, C.W.L. honor guard, the C.W.L. ladies who provided the beautiful lunch. Your hospitality and service was sincerely appreciated. To the many people who sent food, telephoned, visited us at home or at the funeral home, thank you. For the many Mass cards, sympathy cards, monetary donations, flowers, thank you. Thank you to Dr. David Ley, Anne and Lynn for your kindness and care during Mom’s illness. To the nurses on 3rd floor at G.B. Hospital and to the V.O.N. who visited Mom at home weekly, thank you. We would like to thank the beautiful Home Care Workers who were with Mom daily for the last few years. They brought much joy to Mom and showed such tender loving care. Thank you to Rita and staff of V.J.McGillivray Funeral Home. Your kindness and caring meant so much. To one and all your kindness is truly appreciated and gratefully acknowledged.
