April 24, 1914 - November 22, 2009

Our much loved Mother passed away peacefully with Anja and Terry at her bedside at Ponderosa Lodge, the age of 95 years.

Mom was predeceased by her husband Henry in August 1978 and her Father Syrille in 1955 and Mother Clara in 1972 and her sisters Anna and Alice and brothers Wilfred and Alex.

She is survived by her two sons Terry (Anja) granddaughters Michele (Eric) and Leena (Bryce) and her great grandson Taylor of Banff, Alberta and Alcid (Heather) of Chemainus and grandchildren Penny, Shane and Lee (Robin) and seven great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren living in Victoria, Duncan and Ladysmith on Vancouver Island.

A heart filled thank you to Doctor Howie for his wonderful and thoughtfulness in taking care of our Mother and to the beautiful and caring staff at Ponderosa Lodge.

Mom's request was not to have a service but to have a gathering of friends who she loved being with to have a toast in her honour which we will have at a later date.
