Formerly of Summerville, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at St. Clare’s Hospital, in his 66th year. Predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Mary Ducey and sister Catherine Gillis (Douglas). He leaves to mourn daughters: Antoinette Harrington (Kevin) and Kimberly, their mother Lucy; grandchildren: Isabelle and Chantal; brothers: William (Shirley), Martin (Eileen); sisters: Lorraine Neary (Francis) and Bernadette Walsh (Gerald, deceased); many nieces and nephews. Tony had spent his last six years at the Geriatric Unit of the Waterford Hospital dealing with the late stages of early onset dementia. His family would like to extend a most sincere thank you to the staff of North 2A and North 3A for the concern, kindness and friendship shown to Tony during these years. It will not be soon forgotten. Also thank you to the doctors and nurses at St. Clare’s for their care during his last hours. The funeral will be held in Summerville at a date to be announced.
