Passed away suddenly at his home in Boynton Beach, Florida on Dec. 31, 2011, age 48 years. Leaving to mourn his cherished wife and best friend Suelynn (Dignard); parents Robert and Joan Kirkland; parents-in-law Abel and Ann Dignard; siblings: Tony Kirkland (Mary), Keith Kirkland (Carol), Kimberly Edwards (Scott); brother-in-law Glen Dignard; special nieces and nephews: Tony, Ashley, Megan, Kelsey, Anna, Kirkland, Laura; and grandmother Josephine Kirkland; also a large circle of relatives and friends in Newfoundland and Florida. A celebration was held to remember the gift of his life and friendship at Mariners Way in Boynton Beach Florida on Wednesday, January 4th. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road, St. John's. Visitation taking place Saturday, January 7, 2-9 p.m. and Sunday, January 8, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road, St. John’s on Monday, January 9 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road.
