Passed away at home on January 5, 2012, Phyllis Reta Matthews, age 87. Predeceased by her husband Albert (2002). Mother to Linda (Keith) Bowden, Heather (David) Hawkins and Byron (Phyllis) Matthews. Grandmother to John (Jane) Bowden, Gregory (Alison) Bowden, Anne Bowden, Steven (Amelia) Hawkins, Susanne (Stewart) Churchill and Michael (Darlene) Matthews. Great-grandmother to Lucy Bowden, Thomas Bowden, Tyler Hawkins, Zachary Hawkins, Albert Matthews, Benjamin Matthews and Gavin Matthews. Sister of Boyd (Donna) King, London, ON. Family will be receiving visitors at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Friday, January 6, 2012, from 2-9 p.m. Memorial service will take place from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
