David Little
To our family, friends, and neighbours and co-workers, we the family of the late David Little, would like to extend our deepest appreciation for the many acts of kindness received during this difficult time with the recent loss of our kind and gentle husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and true friend. To everyone who sent food, flowers, cards, charitable donations, mass cards, sympathy cards, prayers, online condolences, visited the funeral home and attended the service, we are sincerely grateful. To John, Lorraine and staff members of McLellan Funeral Home, New Waterford, we could never express our thankfulness for your kindness, friendship, and professionalism you provided to our family. Special thank you to Rev. Judi Phillips for her many visits to the hospital and her heartfelt funeral service, companionship and celebration of David's life. Thank you to Kevin Kearney and Aileen Butler for providing beautiful and breathtaking music and hymns. Thank you to the pallbearers, Daniel MacDonald, Jonathan MacKinnon, Ian Townsend, Billy MacDonald, Andrew Colburn, David Little Jr. and the readers, Tanya (Little) MacIntyre and Aimee Little, Papa would be so proud of all of you. To the Color Party from RCL Branch 78 as well as the veterans, who attended the service at the funeral home and the church, our sincere thanks. A special appreciation to the staff of the ICU and Cape Breton Regional Hospital for their dedication and compassion in the care they provided to our loved one. David received a beautiful and memorable farewell from the Dominion Fire Department for his many years of service. Words cannot express our sincere thanks for their service at the funeral home, leading the funeral procession and the Last Alarm. A special thank you to the Church of the Good Shepherd and the Dominion Fire Department for providing a delicious luncheon and time of fellowship. For all the love, kindness and support we received, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
