The family of the late Ted Shea wish to express our sincere appreciation to relatives, friends and neighbors during our recent loss. Thank you to all who phoned, sent food, sympathy cards, mass cards, flowers, memorial donations, monetary donations and to those who traveled far distances to be with us, we are forever grateful. Special thanks to Dr. Greg Myatt and staff for many years of dedication and caring for Dad. Thanks to Dr. Butler and staff of Emergency, staff of 4A and 4B, and staff of Palliative including Dr. Ritter, Dr. Burns and Dr. D'Intino for your excellent end-of-life care. Special thanks also to staff of VON, especially Pat Morrison, for outstanding compassionate care. We will forever remember the kindness of special family friend Kim Day, whose love and dedication to Dad was never ending. Thanks to pallbearers: sons Shaun, Dennis, Joe and Tommy and sons in law, Darrell Wall, Dave MacKinnon and Greg MacDonald. Thanks to readers Paddy Shea, Laurie Shea and Karen Shea and Eucharistic minister Rita Wall. Thanks to Piper Courtney MacPherson and Pierce Sampson and the St. Theresa's Senior Choir for their beautiful gift of music. A heartfelt thank you to members of Branch 12 Legion for their beautiful farewell to Dad he would have been so proud. Special thanks to Fr. Norman MacPhee and Fr. Jim Oliver for wonderful spiritual guidance during dad's illness and funeral mass. Thank you to Bill Curry and staff of T.W. Curry's Funeral Home for their kindness and professionalism.
