BRIGGS, PHYLLIS W. GOLDSWORTHY (TINY) - Phyllis W. Goldsworthy (Tiny) Briggs passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Loch Lomond Villa Nursing Home, surrounded by her family. Born 1918 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Robert Stephen and Elsie (Perkins) Goldsworthy. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband William A. Briggs (Bucky); son Fred Briggs, daughter Patricia Bell; son-in-law Frank Folkins; granddaughter Janice Folkins; nine brothers; and four sisters. She is survived by her sons Phillip Briggs (Patricia) of Richmond, BC and Daniel Briggs (Darlene) of Saint John; daughters Linda Fallon (Brian) of Grand Bay-Westfield and Beverly Folkins of Millstream; daughter-in-law Anna Briggs of Quispamsis; sister Lillian Brown of Florida; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
By request there will be no visitations or funeral service. A private family interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery at a later date.
