It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, and sister Viola at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville on January 5, 2012 .
Born in South Bar, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Katie (Clarke) MacLean.
Originally from Cape Breton, she was residing in Haliburton Place, Windsor.
Viola is survived by her children, Roy, Gary (Eileen), and their children, Philip and Sarah, Margaret MacPhail, Diane (Jim) Mitchell, and their children James (Kristin) and Adam, Rita MacPhail and her children, Kathleen and Alex, her first great grandchild, Jasper, as well as her brother, Eddie MacLean, South Bar.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Philip MacPhail and her siblings.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday January 9, 2012 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the S.P.C.A.
