Malcolm MacDonald passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at The Wales Home, Richmond, Que., in his 93rd year.
Beloved husband of the late Mary Katie (MacLeod). Loving father of Leona (Lorne), Arlene (Maurice) and Leonard (deceased). Cherished grandfather of Andrew-Paul (Veronique), Terri-Lyn (Nelson), Douglas (Amber) and great-grandfather of Amy, Melyna, Lily and Thomas.
Malcolm served overseas with the Canadian Army in the Second World War and retired from Canadian Johns Manville after 30 years.
His family members wish to express their appreciation for the wonderful care given to our father by the staff on Norton III of The Wales Home where he has been a resident for 13 years.
The family will receive friends at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, (819) 826-2502, Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and at the Danville United Church on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, one hour prior to the memorial service from 10-11 a.m.
