Todd MacLeod, 47, Tower Road, Glace Bay

It is with great sadness that we the family announce the sudden passing of our beloved Todd on Monday, Nov. 23, 2009. A former longstanding member of the Tower Road Volunteer Fire Department, Todd was a quiet man who displayed a gentle kindness to one and all.
Born in Glace Bay, Laughlin Todd MacLeod was the son of Ruth (MacDonald) and the late Arthur Keith MacLeod.
He is survived by sisters, Debbie (Elmer) Boutilier and Heather (Eddie) MacDonald, Glace Bay; and brothers, Kirk, Emerson, Calgary, David (Mary), Reserve Mines; and sister-in-law, Darlene MacLeod, Calgary. Also left to mourn are many nieces and nephews, Jeff MacLeod, Aaron and Adam Boutilier, Chad MacLeod and nieces, Jaclyn MacDonald, Kendra and Kelsey MacLeod and Hilary MacLeod. Also survived by grandniece, Grace Boutilier.
Todd was predeceased by his father, Arthur Keith, brother, John Keith, maternal grandparents, John Archie and Ruth MacDonald, and paternal grandparents, Laughlin and Elizabeth MacLeod.
Visitation for the late Todd MacLeod will take place Thursday, Nov. 26 from 2-4 and from 7-9 p.m at Patten Funeral Home, Union Street, Glace Bay. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 27 at 2 p.m in Patten Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Johnston officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
No flowers or donations requested, in keeping with Todd’s spirit please extend an act of kindness to your family and friends.
