Jo was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Mom has battled with many medical challenges and met them head on and with a gentle smile and steely determination.

Jo was creative, enjoyed working with her hands, anything from building cabinets, constructing brick walls to sewing the most beautiful creations for her home, children and then grandchildren, she did it all with style and grace. She created lovely baby blankets and throws that we will enjoy for many years. Other hobbies included bowling, scrabble, cards and casino games.
Mom always felt family was the most important thing in life. She nurtured and cherished many wonderful times we all had together. Mom loved to travel, lived in Europe, and walked the Great Wall of China. Jo raised her family in Richmond, BC and then moved to Kelowna and Kamloops to always be near her grandchildren. Wherever she was she made it her home and opened the door to everyone.
