April 25, 1926 - November 22, 2009

It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Merryfield announces her passing at 83 years.

Jean is survived by her loving husband Earl Merryfield of 56 years, her children Marion, Jim (Karin), Leslie (Terry) and Shirley (Bill); nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister Gladys Moffat and many extended family and friends.

A Celebration honoring Jean's life will be held on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service North Chapel, 10129 Princess Elizabeth Avenue, Edmonton, AB.

A memorial service honoring Jean's life will also be held in Kamloops, British Columbia at a later date.

We wish to express a great sense of joy and pride for the life Jean lived. We have much love and many fond memories of what she brought to our family, and we will truly miss her.

A special thank you to Dr. Schepansky and staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for all your compassion and care.
