We, the family of the late Alice Ings, send our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to family and friends for the overwhelming support given to us during our great loss.
Sincere appreciation for the many acts of kindness in our time of sorrow, to those who sent food, cards, donations, flowers, emails, we thank you all.
Special thank you sent to Alice’s pallbearers and dear co-workers from Marine Atlantic and to her nieces Natalie Granter and Stephanie Doody for taking part in the service with the readings. Also for her close friend Heather Sheaves for her touching eulogy. To Reverend Carl Fraser, we cannot express enough to thank you for your visits and support for both Alice and her family while she was in the hospital. Also for the unforgettable service and personal eulogy that brought so much comfort to everyone. To the choir and organist, as well as the funeral committee of St. John Baptist Anglican Church, thank you for the lovely music and reception.
Special thanks to Dr. Peter Poulos and the staff of 4 West Northside General Hospital for the support and kindness given to her and to Dr. Jensen and the staff of the Cancer Treatment Center, CBRH for the guidance and support over the past year.

We cannot express enough, how much we truly appreciated those that travelled, our family and great friends for all your love and support. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all.
We have all lost a loved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, co-worker and great friend and we would like to thank everyone for sharing their stories and experiences with Alice. Her smile is missed by everyone she touched but the memories we have will remain in our hearts forever.
