Passed peacefully away at the Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge on Sunday, November 22, 2009, John Roberts of Kelligrews in his 90th year. Predeceased by his parents Edith and Selby Roberts of Brigus; brothers: James and George and sister Marion Parsons. Leaving to mourn his beloved wife Muriel of 64 years; sister Ann; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Special recognition of thanks for the tender care and support of our very dear friends Paul and Brenda Neal and their family; also a special thank you to the staff of the Escasoni for the care and compassion provided during the last months of Jack’s life. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on November 25, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Barrett’s Chapel with interment to follow at the Topsail United Cemetery.
