It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alfred “Freddy” Moore announce his passing at the Health Science Center in St. John’s on Friday, January 6th, 2012 at the age of 58 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Angela, two sons: Alfred Peter Andrew in Mainland and Daniel in British Columbia, two daughters Michelle Moore and Rachel Moore, both in St. John’s, his mother Agnes, five brothers: Brendan (Victoria) Moores in Mainland, Andrew Moores in Piccadilly, Kevin Moores in Mainland, Wayne Moores in British Columbia, Gerard (Dawn) Moores in Saskatoon, four sisters: Ronalda (Bud) Pike in Toronto, Janet (Nicholas) Benoit, Mainland, Mary Moores in Fort McMurray and Winnifred (Keith) Humby in Halifax. Also leaving to mourn are his four grandchildren: André, Cassie Jo, Anna, Brooke and a large circle of relatives and friends. Friends may call from St. Anne’s Chapel in Mainland on Monday from 7-9 and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St.Anne’s Chapel with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Mainland. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home in Stephenville.
