JEAN IRENE YOUNG
1951 – 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Irene Young announce her passing at the Springdale Hospital in Springdale on December 16, 2011 at the age of 59. Jean was a member of the Springdale Pentecostal Church. Predeceased by her father Calvin Verge and brother, Gilbert Verge. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband, Freeman; mother, Gertrude Verge and children – Joanne Peckford, Wade Young (Dana), Jackie Swantee (Jason), Michael Young (Beth-Ann), Jenna Blanchard (Keith). Also leaving to mourn grandchildren – Emily, Allison, Noah, Olivia, Caden and Callie; brothers/sisters – David Locke (Selma), Marie Bennett (Howard), Marden Verge (Sharon), Marion Gillespie (Alphonsus), Mary Young, (Roger) and Wade Verge (Maxine); brothers in law/Sisters in law – Rose Young (Tony), Cathy Verge, Ford Young (Wavey), Lillian Verge (Phillip), Eileen Penney (Bruce), Marina Young, Margaret Young, Linda Young and Pansy Luff as well as many more relatives and friends. Pastor Lindsay Foster conducted the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church in Springdale on December 19, 2011. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Locke, Howard Bennett, Wade Verge, Ford Young, Roger Young, Tony Young, Phillip Verge and Bruce Penney.
