Passed peacefully away on January 6, 2012, surrounded by her extended loving family, Shirley Rose, aged 84 years. Predeceased by husband John Rose; mother Ethel and father Leonard Knight; sisters: Ruby Beverly, Jean Neely, Lorraine Soles; and brothers: Allen Knight and Milton Knight. Leaving to mourn her sisters: Gwen Lethbridge and Elsie Knight; brother Robert Knight; nieces: Beverly Lester (Dave), Jean Dillon (Jack), Thelma Larkin (Keith) and Joanne Hipditch (Dave); nephews: Leonard Knight (Rosemary), Robert Knight (Anita Kavanagh), and Terry Knight (Cheryl); as well as many great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and all the staff and her friends at Hillcrest Estates. The family would also like to thank the staff of CCU and ICU at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for their care and compassion. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday, January 8th from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Monday, January 9th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral service to take place at 4 p.m. on Monday, January 9 from Barrett’s Chapel.
