Annie Florence (Elford) Woodman, former resident of Labrador City, passed peacefully away at the QE2 Hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia on January 2, 2012. Pre-deceased by her husband Harrison (2010), son Herman, 2 infant babies, sisters Pansy (Robert Thorne), Daisy, parents Fred and Nellie Elford. Leaving to mourn with happy memories and to celebrate her life with thanksgiving, her sons Roy (Alma) - Wasaga Beach, ON, Barry (Iris) - Dartmouth, NS, daughter-in-law Darlene - Kingston, ON, sisters Marie (Ross), Myrtle (Absalome), Verlie (Garfield), Julie (Edgar), 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews, relations and friends, brother-in-law Harry Wareham, 2 sister-in-laws Mary Woodman and Florence Church. We will remember her by her endless support, love and laughter, always proud of her family and friends that she met along the way. She will be with us forever in our hearts.Cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and friends took place at St. Augustine's Anglican Church, New Harbour on Sunday, January. A funeral took place on Monday, January 9. In-cremation to follow at Anglican Cemetery in New Harbour. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Augustine's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund.
