Suddenly at Cascumpec, on Thursday, May 8, 2008, of Bernard "Bernie" Eric Griffin of O'Leary, aged 63. Beloved husband of Norma (nee Broniszewski) Griffin. Bernie was a retired bank manager with Scotiabank. Born in O'Leary on Jan. 11, 1945 , the son of the late David and Winifred (O'Halloran) Griffin. Brother of Mark (Doris), Ont.; Phalen (Janice), Amherst, N.S.; Winston (Marilyn), Ont.; David (Kyung), Ont.; Joseph (Hazel), Porters Lake, N.S; George (Brenda), Ont.; Myrna Bartle, Ont.; Theresa (Neil) Denis, Ont.; Anne (Gary) Kaulback, Chetwyn, BC. Brother-in-law of Sandra (Donald) Walton, Mary (Brian) Goobie, Veronica (Steven) Barry, John Broniszewski, Joseph Broniszewski, all of Saint John, N.B.; Teressa (Carlos) Vincente, Fredericton, N.B.; and Constance Griffin, Maria Griffin, Elmer Griffin, all of Ontario. Son-in-law of Rose Broniszewski, Fredericton, N.B. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand- nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Gothard, Melvin, Vance, sisters Alfreda Lecky, Louise Silliker and father-in-law Dominic Broniszewski. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours Sunday, 2-5 and 7-9 p.m., and Monday until 10 a.m. then to St. Anthony's Church, Woodstock, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.
