We, the family of the late David Butt wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who helped us in our time of sorrow with the passing of our beloved husband, father, father-in-law, brother, grandfather and uncle. Your support, cards of sympathy, flowers, food, phone calls, messages, visits and donations were greatly appreciated. We would like to thank the staff of the Cancer Care Center, ICU and 4East at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital and the staff of four north B at the Health Science Center in St. John’s. Special thanks to doctors, Thompkins, Burrage, Smith, Savoury, Fitzpatrick, Rideout and Scott Mackenzie for your genuine, care, concern and compassion during this difficult time. Your kind and thoughtful words were comforting and welcomed.

Our heartfelt love and thanks go out to Mary Dennis Gallant for her compassionate care, spiritual friendship and guidance. Special thank you to Paul Fisher for your kindness and comforting presence which meant so much and will not be forgotten. To Vicki Fisher who was able to find a way to lift all of our spirits during this trying time. We would also like to acknowledge the numerous co-workers, family and friends for the outpouring of love, prayers and generosity over the past several months.
