The death occurred at his late residence, on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, of Lloyd Sonier, of Clermont, aged 78 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Cecil and Gussie (Harnish) Sonier. Survived by his wife Leone (McLure) Sonier; children Blaine Sonier, Summerside; Ricky Sonier, Clermont; Steven (Lori) Sonier, New Annan; granddaughter Chelsi Sonier; sisters Betty (Austin) Doucette; Donna Sonier (Alista); sister-in-law Emma Sonier and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Rayford, Roy, and Edward Sonier. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. Completed funeral arrangements to be announced later. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
