Passed away peacefully at the South Shore Villa, Crapaud, P.E.I. on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, Shirley Compton (nee Beattie) of Stratford and formerly of Victoria, B.C.
She was the beloved wife of the late Clifton Compton, a native Islander. Shirley is survived by her sister, Betty Mitchell, and brothers, Robert Beattie and Bev Beattie of Victoria and Port Coquitlam, B.C. She was predeceased by her parents, Murrell and Rita Beattie; her sister, Dorothy Stewart; and brother, Kenneth Beattie.
Service and interment will take place later in Victoria, B.C.
