JONES, RONNIE - Ronnie Bertram Jones of Tracy, NB, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on January 14, 2012. Born in 1956, Ronnie is the son of Bertram and Alta (Nason) Jones. Ronnie worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator most of his life, he loved playing guitar and singing in the worship team at the Gladstone Mission Church in Tracy, where he and his wife Karen were members. Never one to sit idle, if someone needed a helping hand Ronnie was there to help, he volunteered his time at the bottle depot and played his guitar for everyone. He is survived by his wife Karen, one daughter, Candace at home, two sons, Daniel (Allison Dupuis) Fredericton, Shannon (Kate Ralph) Fredericton, four sisters; Annie (Randy) Nason, Tracy, Joyce (Lawrence) Cochrane, Maugerville, Brenda (Sylvanus) Nason, Beaverdam, Debbie (Bill) Harris, Harvey, two brothers; Douglas (Tammy) Jones, Frederick (Barb) Jones, both of Fredericton, one granddaughter, Rayne, and one grandson, Donovan, father-in-law, Raymond Nissen, sister-in-law, Dawn Nissen both of Nanimo, BC and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by infant sister, Jennie, and special Aunt (mom) Vera Phillips.
Visitation on Tuesday, January 17, at 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm at Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, NB. Funeral to take place at the Gladstone Mission Church in the Tracy Recreation Center, Tracy, NB. January 18, 2012 at 2pm with Rev. Steve Aubin officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
