FOLKINS, MYRTLE - With sadness the family announce the passing of Myrtle F. Folkins which occurred on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at St. Joseph`s Hospital. Born 1932 in Tignish, PE she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Dalton) Riley. She is survived by her loving husband Everett Folkins;sons Murray Folkins of Calgary, Jeffrey Folkins (Nicole) of Hampton and Douglas Folkins (Katie) of London, ON; daughters Terry Goggin (Milton) of Elgin and Vickie Campbell (Darrell) of Hampton; brothers Fr. Paul Riley and John Riley of Saint John; sister Shirley Gallant of Summerside; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, 646-2424. By request there will be no visitations. A memorial mass will be celebrated from St. Ann’s Catholic Church (135 Simpsons Drive)on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow in the church hall.
