Autumn Jean MacDonald of East Bay passed away Jan. 14, 2012, at home.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Ted and Ina (Betts) Morley.
Autumn will be remembered by her family as a mother, a hero, a confidant, a teacher and best friend. She enjoyed and welcomed everyone who came through her door with open arms and a quick smile. She was an asset to the community as a baseball player and coach, a hockey player, a girl guide and brownie leader. Every player she coached or child she lead will never forget her. Autumn was an angel created as only one.
Autumn is survived by her cherished husband, John D. MacDonald; children, Zana MacDonald, Ina MacDonald, Keon MacDonald, B.J. MacDonald, Terry MacDonald and Trevor MacDonald; her siblings, Diane (Frank) Young, Perley (Irene) Morely, Rose (Don) McCallum; the grandchildren she adored, Ryan, Morgan, J. J. , Chelsey, Breanna, Mason, Trace, Tye; a special family mention, beloved uncle, Tunney Betts and adored aunt, Phyllis Betts.
She was predeceased by brother, Donnie Morley and infant daughter, Baby Mary MacDonald.
Visitation for the late Mrs. MacDonald will be held 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17 at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18 at St. Mary’s parish, East Bay. Rev Frank Abbass officiating. Interment in parish cemetery.
