It is with great sadness that the family of the late David Power announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday January 14, 2012 at the age of 62. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Maxine of 40 years. Son David (Darlene), daughter Vicki-Lynn (Jamie Raymond), grandchildren: Travis and James, mother Edna (Len Noseworthy), brothers: Gerald (Donna), Kevin (Brenda), Mike (Peggy), Tony, Hubert (Seletta), sisters: Ethel (Ray Brace), Ada (Lloyd Gillam), Barbara (Marty Roberts), Georgina, Grace (Keith Kennedy), Annette (Brain Rowsell), mother-in-law Victoria Travers, sister-in-law Linda (James Harrison), brother-in-law Terry (Ruth Travers), also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by father Ignatius (1998), sister Kathleen, and father-in-law John Travers (2005). Visitation took take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Monday January 16, 2012 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday January 17, 2012 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel today, Wednesday January 18, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating, interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
