Gladys Marie Burden, of Moncton and formerly of Tidnish, NS, and Summerside, PE, passed away at the Jordan Lifecare Center, on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012 with family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Otis and Mary Elizabeth (Davidson) Baxter. Gladys retired after several years working in Nursing. She was a member of Mountain View United Church. Survived by her daughters Bayna Arsenault (David) of Summerside, PE, Terry Lynn Burden (Wayne) of Medicine Hat, and Bonnie Lutes (Todd) of Moncton, NB; sons Robert of Summerside and Stephen (Jan) of White Rock, BC; 15 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Maxwell Burden in 1979; son Glenn; grandson Otis; brothers Rodger and Keith. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Saturday Jan. 21, 2012 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mary MacPherson officiating. There will be a reception to follow the service. In Glady's memory, donations made to the Mountain View United Church would be appreciated by the family.
