GUY, Gerald Leslie — Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on November 27th, 2009, in his 75th year. Predeceased by his parents John and Lavinia and sister Alice Lequant. Leaving to mourn his wife Anita; sons: Gerry (Jennifer) and Rodger (Amy); daughter Lavinia (Dean) Madden; grandchildren: Kaitlin, Emily, Rebeca, Nathan, Victoria and Alexandria — all of which Poppy cherished dearly; brothers: Clyde and Charley; special niece Virginia Tobin (Gary Abbott); close family friends Marie, George and Brittany Sturge; also many other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Maureen March and Nursing Staff of 5 East, St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, for their exceptional care. Visitation will be at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, on Saturday and Sunday, November 28th and 29th, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service from Barrett’s Chapel on Monday, November 30th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
