One year has passed since we last laughed with Darlene. We feel her warmth and we know she still smiles with us, watching over us each day. Today, we will remember the happiness and love that she brought to the world. And on this day, we will not mourn her physical absence from our lives but, rather, we will smile in thanks that we were chosen to be touched by her spirit and be apart of her joyful life. Darlene was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and best friend who will be thought of today and remembered forever.
