WILDERS, LAURA MARIE GALLANT- March 23, 1925 - October 31, 2011 - The angels are dancing in heaven, for one of the most beautiful ladies who danced on this earth has come to join them. She was born Laura Marie Gallant on March 23, 1925 in LaPrairie, NB to Andre Gallant and Obeline Richard Gallant. She moved to St. John, NB in her 20's and subsequently married John Journeay of Welsford, NB. Together they had two sons, were married 36 years and moved to the USA due to John's work. Laura is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Edgar and Emile Gallant and a sister Edna Barrieau. She is survived by her dancing partner and second husband Robert Lee Wilders of Tuscon, AZ, her sons Bruce Journeay and his wife Patricia Journeay of Lyons, Colorado, Murray Journeay of Whistler, BC, sisters Rita Griffin of Jardinerville, NB and Melina DeSaulniers of Templeton, Massachusetts and her brother Livain Gallant of Aldouane, NB plus numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life was held in Tucson, Arizona on Nov. 3, 2011. Memorial Arrangements were conducted by Bring Memorial Chapel 6910 E. Broadway Tucson, AZ 85710. (520) 704-6149
