The death occurred peacefully after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his family at the Stewart Memorial Hospital, Tyne Valley on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012 of "Ryan" Robert DesRoches of Tyne Valley and formerly of Miscouche, P.E.I., aged 30 years. Ryan was born on Nov. 3, 1981 in Summerside, P.E.I. to his parents Robert and Judy (nee Perry) DesRoches. Survived by his sisters Tammy (Marlene) of Ottawa, ON., and Simone of Kensington. Also lovingly remembered by his niece Julie, nephews Matthew and Johnny along with aunts, uncles and cousins. Ryan was predeceased by his grandparents Hilary and Emily DesRoches, Lloyd and Eleanor Perry, Helen Power and his aunt Sheila Praught. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, Jan. 20, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours on Thursday evening only 6-9 p.m. Memorial donations in Ryan’s memory to the Stewart Memorial Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
