LeBLANC, SR. LORRAINE - Sister Lorraine LeBlanc, in religion Sr Marie-Camille-de-Lellis, n.d.s.c., passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, where she resided at the Maison-mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, Moncton following a short illness. She was 94 and in her 78th year of her religious life. Born March 13, 1917 in Barachois, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alphé C. and Zélica (Léger) LeBlanc. Besides her religious family, she is survived by several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two sisters: Mathilde and Simonne, as well as four brothers: Mgr Camille, Edgar, Aristide and Éric.
Sister Lorraine will be resting at the Notre-Dame-d’Acadie Pavillion of the Maison-mère, 125 King St., Moncton (Godfrey Lane entrance) on Thursday, January 19, from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, January 20, from 9 a.m. until the funeral mass. Solemn Vespers will be held on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday January 20, 2012 in the Maison-mère chapel at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Memramcook.
