Darrell Gordon McAndrew, 51, of Morden, passed away, Saturday, May 24, 2008, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Ronald and Edna (Watts) McAndrew. Darrell was employed with Michelin for 19 years and had previously worked at Britex in Bridgetown. He loved his computer, magic cards and dragons, enjoyed archery and canoeing and liked the outdoors and hiking, but most of all he loved his boys. Darrell is survived by his wife, the former Heather Howden; sons, Tyler; Jared and Joshua; sisters, Sandra Gale, Montreal, PQ; Marilyn McGuire, Middleton, P.E.I.; Nancy Frank, Dartmouth, N.S.; Shirley "Sugar" Swallow and Donna McAndrew, both of Kensington, P.E.I.; brother, David (Kate) McAndrew, Kensington, P.E.I. and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2008, in the Fellowship Baptist Church, Melvern Square, where the memorial service will be held 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2008.
