Passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Center on Sunday, January 15th, 2012, Michael Francis Howley, P. Eng., age 87 years. Born September 3rd, 1924, St. John’s. Predeceased by parents James and Mary (Walsh), brothers: James and David and sisters: Elizabeth (Walsh) and Mary. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his wife of 53 years Mary (Roche); children: Mike (Donna Leahy), David (Doreen Dearing), John, Mary Anne (Paul Griffin) and Martina (Mike Green); brother Thomas (Mary); grandchildren with whom he shared much joy: Michael and Alison (Howley); Stephen and Emily (Griffin); Julia and Gregory (Howley); Erin, Sean, Brigid and Declan (Green) and many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday and Friday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 21st, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
