(100 years, 10 months). Entered into eternal rest at the Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island, January 14, 2012. Family origin, Baalbek, Lebanon. Predeceased by her parents John and Marion Basha; two brothers, four sisters and husband George M., 1979. Leaving to celebrate her life are nieces and nephews: Cecilia (Peter deceased) and special niece Erin Kent, Bell Island, Marion Scanlon (Joe), St. John’s, John Basha, Stephenville, Vincent Basha (Mary), Portugal Cove and sister-in-law, Sister Mary Regina Carbage, RSM. Special friends: Helen Martin and Sadie Gosine of Bell Island. Also, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends on Bell Island, Corner Brook, NL, Ontario and USA. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Pendergast Funeral Home on Friday, January 20th Noon - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, January 21 at 11:30 a.m. from St. Michaels Church, Bell Island. No flowers by request.
