WALKER, DOROTHY E. - Dorothy E. Walker, 96, of Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Church Court, Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, January 19, 2012. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Mina (MacNeill) Walker. Dorothy was a retired secretary with the CNR Express Department, with 37 years service. She was a long time member of Highfield Baptist Church, former member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home Ladies Auxiliary, Heritage Moncton and a member of the CN Pensioners Association. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her sister, Margaret Mills (George) of Moncton; niece, Lois Gray (Brian) of Victoria, BC; nephews, Roger Mills (Noreen) of Calgary, AB and Bruce Mills (Gillian) of Coquitlam, BC; special cousin, Karolyn Wilson (Gerald) of Saint John. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Hollis.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Saturday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
