ROBICHEAU, Marguerite Elizabeth – 98, The Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in the home. Born March 18, 1913 in Salmon River, she was a daughter of the late John Emilier and Marie Emilie (Deveau) Doucet. Marguerite was a homemaker, having also worked at Cosmos Imperial Mills and as a fish processor. She loved sewing and knitting. She is survived by her children, Pauline Beals, Yarmouth; Edward (Florence) Robicheau, Brooklyn; Robert “Bobby” (Ruth) Robicheau, Yarmouth; Margaret Rose Morton, Yarmouth; Willard (Brenda) Robicheau, Chegoggin; Emily (Larry) Maberley, Chebogue; Anthony “Tony” Robicheau, Yarmouth; 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George Edward “Alfred” Robicheau; children, Rita Marie in infancy, and William Robicheau; a grandson, Gary; sisters, Delima, in infancy, Annie Doucet, Jennie Muise, Laura LeBlanc, Mae Saulnier; brothers, Alfred, Wilfred and Lester Doucet. Visitation took place from 2-4 and 7-9 Friday, with prayers at 8 p.m. at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. The funeral mass was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 21 at Saint Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Henry Smolenaars officiated. Interment followed in the Saint Vincent-de-Paul Parish Cemetery, Salmon River. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Meadows Home for Special Care.
