POWER, Peter John – It is with great sadness the family of Peter Power announce his passing on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, at the age of 65. He is predeceased by his parents Melvin and Clara Power, sister Catherine Evans, and brother Kevin Power. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his sisters: Theresa (Ed Baker), Mary, and Margret Rose; brothers: William, Angus (Alexis Rice), Melvin (Josephine Power), and Leonard (Noreen Power); brother-in-law William Evans; sister-in-law Francis Power; 22 nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home on Saturday from 7 p.m.-9 p.m., Sunday 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and Monday from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. from Caul’s Chapel with cremation to follow. Inurnment will take place on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 2 p.m. from the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Cape Broyle. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
