May 1, 1933 - November 27, 2009

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather Edwin Eric Knodel.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Elsbeth, his two sons Brian (Karen) and David; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two sisters Irene and Shirley (Bill); his Aunty Elsie Kelly, also many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Edwin was predeceased by his youngest son Tim aged 48 years on September 27, 2009 exactly two months before Edwin's passing.

A Celebration of Edwin's Life will be held on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the 1st Baptist Church, 454 Columbia Street, Kamloops, B.C. V2C 2T5 with Pastor Warren Trenholm officiating. Following the funeral service Edwin will be laid to rest at the Hillside Cemetery in Kamloops, BC.

The family requests that any expressions of sympathy take the form of a donation to the Sunny Brae Bible Camp. RR 1, Tappen, B.C. V0E 2X0.
