Passed peacefully away at the Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista, on January 16, 2012, Lizzie (Betty) Ethel Cole, age 79, from Champney's East. Predeceased by husband, Jonathan (Don); parents, Ned and Blanche Russell; sister, Nina Patey and granddaughter, Rebecca Cole. Leaving to mourn are her sisters, Rosalind Pye and Emily Nurse; brothers, Harvey and Kevin Russell; children, Peter (Eileen), Cathy (Bryce), Carol (Harold), Edmund (Suzanne), Beverly (Claude) and David (Tracey); grandchildren, Jamie, Margaret-Ann, Robert, Josh, Justin, Katrina, Nicholas and Megan; great-grandchildren, Alexie, C.J., Jessica, Daniel and Alisha and other family and friends. Rested at St. Clements Anglican Church, Champney's West from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Valerie Gillam, took place on January 19th, 2012 with interment following at the Anglican cemetery, Champneys East. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Hickman's Harbour, Random Island.
