Passed peacefully away at The Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Thursday, January 19th, 2012 Stewart Bruce Mackenzie Keefe, age 77 of Noggin Cove. Predeceased by his wife Sadie in 1977, parents Stewart and Cora Keefe, brother-in-laws Reg Oake and Martin Bowe. Left to mourn are his wife Elizabeth (Matchem) Keefe, children James (Thersa), Beulah, Sharon, Trudy (Keith) Landry, Bruce (Tammy), Jason (Kym), Jeremy (Angela), brothers Garland (Beryl), Tom (Karen), sisters Shirley (Ernest) Coish, Geraldine, Gloria, 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Carmanville on Sunday and Monday. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 24th at 2:00 P.M. from the Pentecostal Church, Carmanville. Interment followed at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Carmanville. Donations in Bruce’s memory may be made to the Pentecostal Cemetery Fund.
