DONEY, MARION MARILLA - Mrs. Marion Marilla Doney of Primrose Cottage passed away at her residence on January 23, 2012 at the age of 87. Born in Penobsquis on October 23, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marion (McLeod) Morton and was the wife of the late Walter Doney who passed away in 1998. Rilla is survived by her son, Douglas and his wife Susan of Sussex; her sister, and Margaret Briggs; a sister-in-law, Audrey Merritt; three grandchildren: Brianne, Hayley and Ethan as well as several nieces and nephews. Rilla was predeceased by a brother, Jack and two sisters, Marjorie Robinson and Annie Smith.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm.
