Earl William Cherry passed away peacefully Nov. 24, 2009, in Duncan, B.C. with his daughters by his side. After years working on the C.P.R., Earl worked in sales for CKBI. He retired from CKBI in Prince Albert in 1993 settling in Duncan, B.C. He enjoyed many years hunting and fishing in the northern parts of Saskatchewan as well as golfing with his wife Eve. While semi-retired Earl and Eve spent many happy years vacationing in the San Diego area as well as trips abroad. The family wishes to thank the C.P.R., the Rawlinson family, the broadcast community, Prince Albert Golf Club and Earl's many life-long friends for the years of care and support shown to Earl and his family. Predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Evelyn, Earl is survived by his four daughters, Dr. Raeleen Cherry (Dr. David Reich) of Edmonton, AB., Dr. Bonnie Kirkpartick of Edmonton, AB., Alexis Aitken (Robert) of Duncan, B.C., Pam Martina (Bob) of Nanoose, B.C., his sister, Bernice Newton of Edmonton, AB and 9 grandchildren.
