EDWARD FILTEAU
September 28th, 1924 - January 22, 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Filteau at the Sunnyside Adventist Care Home. Edward is loved and remembered by his daughter, Lynda (Dale) Desjarlais of Saskatoon; sons, Gerry (Lori) of Regina, Ron (Nancy) of Swift Current and Don (Karen) of Prince Albert; nine grandchildren, Gord Desjarlais, Renee (Zane) Zemluk, Kevin Filteau (Kendra Ayres), Chad, Tyler, Justin, Nicole, Janelle and Travis Filteau; great grandchildren, Ryan and Sarah Zemluk; sisters, Yvonne (George) Berkes of Victoria, BC. Edward was predeceased by his wife, Laura and granddaughter, Angelica Filteau, his parents and sister, Irene (Mel) Torgunrud. Vigil for Edward will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26th and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27th, 2012. Both services held at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church (222 Willow Street). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation (Box 309 Saskatoon, SK S7K 3L3).
