WARREN, WILLIAM ANDREW - The passing of William “Willie” Andrew Warren of Maple Grove, NB, husband of Susan Warren occurred on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Maple Grove, NB on December 21, 1926, he was a son of the late Alfred and Mertle (Smith) Warren. He retired from the C.N.R. as a Section Foreman. William enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Dianne Sherwood (Ronald) of Fredericton, NB, Debra Snow (Charles) of Maple Grove, NB, Anny Bye (Gordon) of Fredericton, NB; one son, Elbridge Warren of Maple Grove, NB; six grandchildren, William “Billy” Estey (Bonnie) of Nova Scotia, Mellissa Estey of Fredericton, NB, Stacey Cormier (Jason) of Fredericton, NB, Amanda Sherwood of Saskatchewan, Tracy Snow (Brian) of Moncton, NB, Penny Snow (Peter) of Oromocto, NB; four great grandchildren, Makaylynn Snow of Oromocto, NB, Jayden Cormier of Fredericton, NB, Leea Estey of Bridgewater, NS and Tegan Estey of Fredericton, NB; one sister, Dorothea Ward (Robert) of Williamsburg, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Flora Warren, Lillian Colford (Perle).
There will be no Visitation or Memorial Service by request. Interment will take place at the Hillcrest United Church Cemetery, Stanley, NB at a later date. The family wishes to thank Willie’s home care workers for their care and compassion. For those who wish, remembrances made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
