It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sam Brown, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in Winnipeg, M.B. at the age of 78. Born in Glace Bay Sam was the son of the late Lucy and Joseph Brown. Sam is survived by his wife Marilyn, sons Michael, Stephen, daughters Lisa and Donna, stepdaughters Lisa and Karyn, 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, sisters Vivian, Mabel and Merina. Sam was predeceased by brothers Urban, James, Joseph, Pat, Roddy and Sandford, sisters Gertie, Mabel and Marion. Sam served with the R.C.A.F. for 21 years. Cremation has taken place.
