Norman Erb Sr.
Norman Erb Sr passed away peacefully on January 24, 2012. Norman was born June 12, 1929 at Mazenod, SK. Norman spent most of his life farming in the Mazenod/Mossbank area. Norman and Teana also had residences in the town of Mossbank, SK, Sicamous, BC, and later in Moose Jaw, SK. Norman was active in the community and the church, making many friends wherever he was. Norman was predeceased by his brother Erwin, brother-in-law Ernie Wald and nephew Steve Wald. He leaves behind his loving and caring wife, Teana, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage; his children Sandra and Gord Stewart, Ellery and Gloria Erb; grandchildren Melanie and Mike Ross, Kerri and Dan Gartner, Blake and Jackie Erb, and Morgan and Greg Hartman; great-grandson Grayson Ross; his brothers Jim (Hilda) Erb and Glenn (Barb) Erb; brother-in-law Wally (Bettie) Sutter; sisters-in-law Laura Sutter and Alice Wald; 12 nieces and nephews; and family friend, May Campbell. A celebration of Norman’s life will be held at the First Baptist Church, 1010 Main St N, Moose Jaw on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson Society Canada, 4211 Yonge St, Suite 316, Toronto, ON, M2P 2A9 or to The Gideons International in Canada, 501 Imperial Road N, Guelph, ON, N1H 7A2. Arrangements are entrusted to Parkview Funeral Chapel.
